For new owners with a significant art collection, we were invited to redesign the décor of this house. Furnishings both vintage and custom-made by the studio elaborate on midcentury Italian style with sinuous luxury, emphasizing fine materials and generous proportions for elegant comfort. The palette remains pale and neutral to allow most of the color in the rooms to come from the art. A new, mod, aerodynamic bar in the great room makes a play of geometric shapes with an adjacent game table, both in creamy white lacquer. Set down a few steps from the rest of the living space, the master suite is more secluded and elemental, with a glass corner that opens directly to the pool—a world within the world of the house.
